KL RAHUL CHANGES STRATEGY TO GET INTO THE WC 2019 INDIAN 15 MEN SQUAD

NO. 4 SPOT DILEMMA FOR TEAM INDIA RESOLVED?



  

We all are aware of the 15 men squad announced by the BCCI on 15th of this month.All eyes were on the options for the 4th spot and a backup for openers.Most of the team was self picked and it was all about the 4th spot and the extra seamer for the welsh conditions,and announced squad was not surprising for many of us  except the Rishabh Pant fans...Indian skipper Virat Kohli expressed his views on the selection of squad saying recent IPL forms wont affect the selection for the upcoming tournament,but the selection committee had different plans where IPL played a major role.Kl Rahul was a topic of debate in the selctions. He had a very bad patch before IPL and never seemed to get back in touch.But the most astonishing fact is the story potrayed by on going IPL where he looks in a good touch again.it seems like he changed his approach as a opener with a intent to play impact innings.He was observed playing a comparitively slow innings than the kind of flow he  usually delivers at the start of innings.This young bloke also gets to set his eye in as he comes out to bat with Chris Gayle who is a great striker of the ball. Virender Sehwag had a opinion about the 27 year old, that he has changed his batting styles to get into the world cup squad where he successfully clinched the no. 4 spot with a competition including another accomplished young talent Vijay shankar. It seems like Shankar will be the first choice for playing XI but KL will surely make for some of the league matches.
